Rooms
We have two types of rooms available: chalets of which we have four; and standard room of which we also have four.
Chalet
Our best rooms, these chalets are available with large double bed, a private bathroom and air conditioning to keep you comfortable and well rested after a day’s island activities. The interior is focussed on simplicity and comfort, the traditional Indonesian way.
Standard Room
The Standard Room is a unique configuration, comprising four individual room units that are housed within a double-storey building. Each room has it’s own small private balcony.
Dive Centre
When it comes to making the most of the sea, divers are in excellent hands. This resort has a purpose-built dive centre as well as a clean well-kept dive boat for up to twelve divers that leaves from the shore nearby. Once divers are in the capable hands of Amir the dive centre manager and guide, the only thing left to do is get in the water and enjoy everything the waters around Maratua have to offer. Trips to see the coral reefs and turtle hotspots are available each day for divers and several, although not all, of the trips are also suitable for those who prefer to snorkel only.

Food & Kitchen
Considering that this is an island and one rich in marine life it should come as no surprise that fresh, simply prepared seafood is a prominent feature on the Maratuan menu. Being so close to Teluk Harapan jetty means that a lot of the fresh seafood is bought on the day from the local fishermen. The meals are all prepared in the typical island style with fresh local produce and dishes that capture the island atmosphere and traditions.
